01:23 pm [Link]	August 28th, 2031 I'm going to take a shot in the dark here and say that the argument likely didn't have anything to do with Caoimhe and Lorcán. Then it's been a bit of an odd week, so it very well might have been, but I kind of doubt it. [Private] I'm going to be so very dead if her father figures out in the very near future where she's staying. I don't think I ever quite went to the point of begging at any point, so it was completely her choice to come here after I offered it. Still, I just know how protective Dad or even Row and I can be about River and the idea of having that kind of force coming up against you is not something I would want to witness. 09:50 pm [Link]	Public for about the first fifteen minutes and then private after he reads Rose's post ~~Well since they pay so much attention anyhow...~~ Dear Witch Weekly, ~~First I don't believe your poll and demand a recount.~~ Her name is Rose Weasley, but the mere fact that it took you almost three weeks to figure out that I was even seeing someone is actually reassuring. Proves at least a few people know how to keep quiet I guess. And she is very much worth my time. I am also curious as to how you define "pretty enough". She is actually brilliant and has a very impressive breadth as well as depth of knowledge in a number of subjects. Which is something I find rather attractive if you've been paying attention at all. She also has these piercing eyes. Kind of focused and intense whenever she's even just looking over at me. I'm not sure how else to describe it. Though since you seem interested, WW... She's absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous. Not the first thing I noticed considering last I can recall seeing her she was at Hogwarts and we were just talking on these journals for quite a while before I asked her out. Though personally, even though the Kestrels have denied it, we are Irish so Kenmare would be just logical for Cao and fairly sure she'd look fine in green. She just couldn't be half of WW's "favourite Falcons couple" any more. And congratulations to Rising Phoenix on the Top Band's mention. You do put on a rather brilliant show. The fact that I've had enough time to even flip through both of those this afternoon means that I should actually go check out the bookstore or see if there's a library around here. I haven't actually gone looking around in all the time I've been here to see if there is a library close to my flat. Then I think I also have a copy of The Three Musketeers that I haven't read in a while. Or I'll take suggestions? [Private to Rose] Free some evening this week? 01:15 am [Link]	Private to Family So I go out to practice today and get pulled aside momentarily by Bryan and Blackburn (The Arrows' lovely PR people), and get asked if I've read the Prophet yet today and considering I'm still trying to wake up completely and was planning to do that with a quick fly around the pitch that would be a negative. We might also ignore the fact that I have been trying to avoid most publications this week as they only tend to get me all the more annoyed. And there is Rose's letter just as pretty as you please. They know I've been associating with her though and it's their job to know those sorts of things. Telling me that I should cease contact with her though or risk my position as first string Keeper? Definitely not winning them any points from me. I told them when it starts affecting my performance on the pitch they can start worrying, but otherwise they could go push the paper where the sun doesn't shine... I am not as nice of a person when you threaten me before I'm barely awake. Unless something happens between now and tomorrow though, I've been confirmed by everyone else that I don't have anything to worry about. 02:20 pm [Link]	142... I have no idea what that stands for. Dear Witch Weekly, I haven't looked that scruffy since I was my first year on the reserve team or at Puddifoot's. Her name is Persephone, the dog's name is Hades. Yes, I find it very amusing. She is a friend and neither of us particularly found it amusing, other than you could only find pictures that are three or four years old. Surely you can find something a little more recent next time? Tyree Troy This probably only proves though that I need to get out more to things that aren't Quidditch matches. It was one of her friends that ended up getting killed, and likely one of the people that supported her most when it came down to this whole damned marriage business. I'm not even sure how much temporary sympathy this is going to get from the rest of the family, but then I've known them this long and Mum, Dad, Cao and Row never cease to surprise me in one manner or another. They make it harder and harder to remain neutral and not worry about it though. First they have the Minister and his staff all in Falcons and Harpies outfits going on about supporting the Ministry, so what's next? Getting an actual quidditch player to do some sort of endorsement for them? Certainly not going to be me and if they paste my picture on something, the PR department and I are going to have some serious words about doing that. I don't care how much money they're offering and anyone who accepts an offer like that can kiss part of their fanbase good bye. You speak out against the Ministry though and apparently you end up in Azkaban or dead. And people don't like the Ministry currently, that much is obvious. There are few things I openly support because I don't want to go spouting off with something that is going to end up haunting me for the rest of my career. Think I liked it better when we were speculating if the man wore make-up rather than if the man is responsible for some of these weirder happenings recently. Then the rioters aren't helping their case so much. Does no one remember what they did in America? North Ireland? ... About every bloody rights movement when you're protesting something that has actually been successful? Non-violence. Let them arrest you, hex you, do whatever the hell they want. If you don't fight back, you're going to gain sympathy for your cause and more people are going to start questioning what might be going on if anything. Will they bother to see who's wand work ended up killing the two today though? Unlikely. Would have been a lot easier if half the fight hadn't pulled out their wands to begin with though.

04:08 am [Link]	Hexed to females whom are not related to him [Charmed a little extra to catch the attention of the three oldest Finnigan girls] So I happen to be in possession, or at least they are at the ticket kiosk in my name, of an extra ticket to the Falcons v. Harpies game. It promises to at least be a hellva game as long as the snitch isn't caught in ten minutes or less. So I'm offering up the ticket to anyone who might like to go. Quidditch game and possibly drinks, but we can just see how things go. Just seeing if anyone might be interested. It can be a date, but it doesn't have to be. [7 Stops \| Toss That Quaffle]

08:00 pm [Link]	June 24th, 3031 Working out in this heat is about brutal. It's one of the... Five days or so of summer we get in this country. I just decided to go for a swim after practice just to cool off. Then apperating home seemed more practical than flying with wet clothes on. Hopefully this heat wave doesn't last as there is only so much that cooling charms can really do before someone collapses from heat stroke in their own house. Hopefully St. Mungo's is slowly getting a little emptier from the injuries in Diagon as they'll likely soon have injuries from the Quidditch season. Then a fair amount of those can be taken care of by the Medi-witches and wizards and you're fine in a few hours at most. I'd hate to be a seeker though. Spend most of your time looking for a little gold ball and everyone's out to try and get you out of the game as quickly as possible. Then Keeper's not much better so long as you don't try to catch the bludger thinking it's a quaffle trying to get through. Which... has happened a few times and broken bones if it's going too fast. There have been at least a few cracked ribs. Considering what to do for dinner still if I don't end up falling asleep here because as hot as it is, it is also a little sleep inducing with this warmth. [River] Still believe I owe you a gift and I haven't taken much time to get shopping. Plus just sending chocolate would probably work, but I think I could do better.
